I have been in the EAA for over 10 years, am the president of the Phoenix EAA, and have owned and repaired many EVs. I want to make my 05 Toyota Prius into a PHEV but have to wait for advanced batteries at about 10K. I won't use lead acid any more.

I also write a blog on http://EVworld.com and help Bill by doing the stock page for him. I'm on the board of the National EAA and also write on http://fixingtheplanet.org.
